In the Army now

Who doesn't love a man in uniform....or out of it?

  1. Great photos there, Killa.

    Oh, I did get a gmail address : philthomasthecat@gmail.com

I see that I still have to write the distorted letters and number before I can post. Not your fault, Nate, but when others come on board, I'd like to know if they have to do the same thing. If not, how they get around it. If I understood Bulletskill correctly, he said he never had to do that. It really is a hassle.

    1. Yeah I have to do that too.
My experiences: Firefox will not work at all for placing comments. Chrome is OK (didn't try IE).
I use a Google account linked to a Yahoo email address, and need to prove I have flesh and blood every time.

  3. Phil, I also have a gmail account 60s.70sclassics@gmail.com and I used that for the above comment. I found it took longer to post the comment than just typing in my name and submitting. Either way you still have to confirm your human by typing in some barely decipherable text. Both ways are time consuming really.

  4. Killa,

I realize you're a bunny from across the pond, but here in the US, the 3rd guy would be in the Navy, not the Army. Also, when are you adding that famous outlaw, HangBunny to the Wild West. I hear he's upset at being left out, and may be gunning for you. ;)

    1. Well ain't I jest a dumb ol' bunnikins! I though as how he was in some kinda dress uniform.
Don't worry, da infamous outlaw HangBunny will be making his appearance very soon in the Burrow Springs series. I'm trying to limit each post to no more rthan a half dozen or so images, it's quicker to upload them that way. It also saves e having to create too much new material right now, when I'm busy tryin' ta hold things together in the fallout from M'ply closing down!

  5. So what's the difference between this site and the e blogger site where SKB is? The "e" logo suggests that they are the same ... maybe? Anyway, I've never had to type in the hard to read text at SKB but do here. Why would that be? Just curious.

  6. OH MY GOD ... BREAK OUT THE CHAMPAIGN.

I didn't have to do it this time. The weird thing, however, was that when I clicked on "Publish," it took me to the cover page for e blogger where you see the content warning and need to click on continue. That's easy enough to do if it keeps working that way. We'll see.

  7. Hey, I'll delete all this in a day or so, or Nate, you can go ahead and delete it anytime but I'm soooo happy. The above message got posted immediately without even having to go to the opening page. Nate, if you tweaked something on the settings at your end, that may have done it. Now it works just like SKB.

    1. Great, I'm glad it finally worked, although I made the changeseveral hours ago, and sent you an email, I guess you never checked that email account! I have two main email accounts and I leave the window for each of them open at the same time on my web browser, so I usually know fairly quickly if someone's left me a message, as long as I'm at the pooter!
There's no need to delete these messages, it does no harm for others to see what we all went through in setting up and getting things to work. And you're right, this is the same place where SKB is located. It was because SKB has been working for over six months that I finally decided to relocate here, after trying so many other places in the past couple of weeks. This is just the more respectable place where I can invite my lady friends, as well as the fellas!
